This week Emily worked on coloring some pictures for Color-A-Smile. This is a non-profit organization that collects pictures that are drawn or colored by children and then every month distributes them to Nursing Homes,
Meals on Wheels Programs, and Individuals all across the country.

If you visit the Color A Smile website you can print out coloring and drawing pages. I love the idea of sharing the beauty of children’s art with others.
We are going to be sending our winter coloring pages in soon….I hope you will join us in helping to make people smile too!!!
What fun! My son colored some pages last year, but I had completely forgotten about it. Thank you so much for reminding me. BTW- Love your Etsy shop!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea - except my daughter still doesn't like to color and doesn't "get" the idea of sending her art to someone she doesn't know. I'll keep this in my list of things to do when she is older.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. I'm going to check it out. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing I think this is a great thing for kids to do.
ReplyDeleteI have printed off several and will put my dastardly duo to the task!
Oh my goodness, this is SUCH a great idea! Thank you so much for sharing. I'm off to check it out.
ReplyDeleteAnd by the way, I'm also off to check out your Etsy shop. Love those clips!
