While watching Emily work on a project Juliette was so excited to join in. She kept pointing to the paint and then herself. How could I resist!! I taped down a piece of waxed paper on the try to her booster seat. Then I put a glob of Fingerpaint and let her explore it. She poked it and then spread it all over. Just look at that adorable little purple hand. Next, I added a few leaves. She finger painted them too.
This was a great sensory experience for her, but I think she was most excited that she was able to be just like her big sister :0)

This is so sweet, and brave:-)! I haven't let Jesse paint yet, maybe I should! Juliette is precious with those little fingers!!
ReplyDeleteT is always itching to get into whatever B is working on, too. I'm afraid he's still at the stage where he eats everything though, so the only thing he gets to fingerpaint with is food!
ReplyDeleteHi there! My daughter is 13 months old and I recently let her try fingerpainting too! We also used Crayola Fingerpaints. They're great! Juliette's so sweet and neat though - my Bubbles was happily eating the paint!
ReplyDeleteToo cute! My girls really aren't into the finger painting much! Bummer!
