Sticker Shapes

Emily's Sticker Shapes

I saw this idea on Her Cup Overfloweth and had to give it a try. Emily loves stickers and I we have been working on shapes . So I printed the paper from the link on her site and gathered our stickers and Emily and I had fun tracing the shapes with stickers.

I love how she is sticking out her tongue while she is concentrating on putting the sticker on the line.

Showing the camera the sticker! Emily and I took turns putting the stickers on. It was a lot for her to do all by herself. She always likes when I help.
Our finished project!

wow, great job! it was a lot for my kids too! Next time, I think I might cut up the paper so each shape is it's own piece of paper...

We did something similar, only we used the "magnet activity" from here: http://www.makinglearningfun.com/Activities/Train/TrainMagnetPages/TrainEngineMagnetPage.gif. Anna put her stickers on each white circle and had a blast. Too bad that it only took her about 20 min to complete that pic. Then I helped her to count all the stickers that she put on letter E and on the Engine.

I read that idea too, and want to try it w/ Danielle, but I'm not sure she's ready for it. I think I'll keep it in the back of my mental notes and give it a try in a couple months, probably. Emily really did a great job!
