When I was unloading the dishwasher the other day Emily asked if she would help. Most of the dishes are either breakable or are kept too high up for her to be able to reach the cabinet to put them away. However she is now tall enough to put the spoons and forks away!!! Emily used to always “help” me unload the dishwasher when she was younger. I would let her take the spoons out of the dishwasher and hand them to me so I could put them in the drawer. It took FOREVER but she loved to do it. After awhile she stopped helping, but it was a lot of fun to have her back at it, this time doing it all on her own. What a big helper she is becoming!!
