TOTSchool
Emily made her own farm with a coloring sheet and farmyard stickers. I was amazed at the story Emily made up about the animals as she was sticking the stickers on the page. She actually had a reason for where she was putting them and told me about it!
Emily always loves playing with her Little People.
Emily took out the flower petals and pipe cleaner and enjoyed working on lacing them to make flowers.
Grandpa gave her this double sided Snoopy puzzle recently and she has done it every day since she got it!
Daddy took Emily for a ride in her new wagon. They enjoyed seeing all the flowers and plants that are blooming!
Emily was most excited about seeing and hearing the "music truck," which is what she calls the Ice Cream truck. Since she has never had the ice cream from it all she knows is that is comes around every night playing music!!
Building with her Melissa & Doug Wooden ABC/123 Blocks .

Reading Theme Challenge ~ I Love Mommy
The book for this weeks Reading Theme Challenge was A Present for Mom by Vivian French, unfortunately my library did not have this book so in honor of Mother's Day we decided to read I Love Mommy
Emily liked that a lot of the things that the Mommy and Child did in the book were the same things that we do together.
Grandma, I Love You a Bunch!
I was searching for a cute card idea for Emily to make for her Grandmas for Mother's Day and found this great one at Danielle's Place of Crafts and Activities. (Visit the site for a printable outline and complete directions.) Since Emily loves finger painting I figured we would give it a try!
I asked Emily something that she liked doing with each Grandma and then wrote it on the inside of each card.

Farm Fun!
**The printout that I used I printed during the Open House at Reading A-Z where you could download things for free, but I did find another printout that would work well with this activity here.

Muffin Tin Monday
Emily's Muffin Tin Lunch
Top Row: Mini Broccoli Cheddar Frittatas, Kiwi Fruit Slices, Honey Wheat Pretzel Twists
Bottom Row: Same as the Top!
Emily loved the Mini Broccoli Cheddar Frittatas and they are so easy to make!
Mini Broccoli and Cheddar Frittatas
- 1 cup chopped frozen broccoli, thawed
- 4 eggs, beaten
- shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and lightly mist 8 regular muffin tin cups with olive oil spray ~ I used mini muffin tin instead and lined them with muffin cups because I do not like to clean the tins after :0)
- Divide the broccoli between the muffin tins
- Beat egg and add salt and pepper to taste, I also added a little onion powder. Then divide between the muffin tins.
- Bake for 8 minutes or until almost set
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese and bake for 8 more minutes or until cooked through

Emily is 26 months old
We had some great weather this week and were able to spend some time outside!! Emily enjoyed drawing on the driveway with chalk...
...and blowing lots of bubbles!!
We picked dandelions to do a Dandelion Print project and as part of a Yellow Scavenger Hunt too!
The cards are just Behr Disney Color Paint Swatches from Home Depot...the whole game was free!!!
First we did it with the colors all facing up so that she just had to pick two of the same color.
- Go, Dog. Go!
