Farm Fun!

Emily Made a Farm!

I found these great farm stickers at A.C. Moore a few months ago for $1.00 and thought Emily would enjoy making her own farm scene with them. She was going through our sticker drawer yesterday and found the stickers so we decided to give it a try.

Emily colored in a farm scene printout with crayons.

Then she added the stickers. As she put the stickers on I asked her the name of the animal she was putting on, what it's color was and what it said.

Emily had a lot of fun telling me stories about the animals she was adding to her farm. She gave each pig a carrot to eat. The bunny had to share a carrot because we didn't have anymore carrot stickers. It was so exciting to listen to her talk about the picture she was creating and telling me why she was putting the stickers where she was. I can't believe how grown up she is!!

**The printout that I used I printed during the Open House at Reading A-Z where you could download things for free, but I did find another printout that would work well with this activity here.

What a lovely activity, and such a cute girl. Our children also love farm animals. I did a game yesterday with our youngest (4 years old), that he 'played' an animal and we (the public) had to guess what he was! Like playing theatre. It was a big succes..
Have a nice day, greetings from mama lieveheersbeestje.
