Roll and Paint!

Roll and Paint...a game and art project all in one!

I found this idea on Toddler Toddler and had to try it! Emily and I had so much fun rolling the container back and forth and the painting inside came out really amazing!

First we put the paper inside the empty oatmeal container.

Then we dipped the crayons in some paint and stuck them into the container.

We taped on the cover and rolled it back and forth and then just all around the room!

Emily was excited to take the lid off and see what it looked like.

We let them dry.

We did this twice, the first time with green sparkle paper and the next time with white paper.

Finally, we cut them out to make shamrocks to decorate the refrigerator!

It's been a really long time since we have done roll painting, I think we'll have to make those shamrocks this week.

We do a lot of marble painting in our house. I love the idea of putting it in a container to roll though. I usually just use a box top. I also just did a post about jelly bean painting.
