Muffin Tin Monday

Emily's Muffin Tin Lunch

This week there was no theme for Muffin Tin Monday, so I figured it was the perfect time to use our new star muffin tin! I was so excited when I found this on clearance at Walmart that I couldn't believe I was able to wait for Monday to use it. I also made some special star toothpicks to go with our new muffin tin. Emily was super excited!!

Top Row: Multi grain crackers with peanut butter and grape jelly, Pear and Grape Kabobs

Bottom Row: Multi grain crackers with peanut butter and grape jelly, Pear and Grape Kabobs

We added some apple sauce when Emily was finished with everything because she saw me eating it and she was still hungry!

Special Star Toothpicks

To make them I just used wood toothpicks and star stickers that we had in our sticker box. I put one sticker on each side of the top of the toothpick. Emily was very impressed by them and they were much cheaper than the fancy ones that they sell in the party store!

I can't wait to make some more of them :0)

How cute is that? I love the toothpicks you made. That was very clever to use stickers to make them fancy. My daughter would love that.

Those star toothpicks are just adorable! And by using stickers, you could change them to suit any theme. The possibilities are endless! Way to go!

Now that star toothpick idea is ingenious! LOVE it. I am addicted to PB&J topped graham crackers:-). You lucked up--I've never seen silicone pans in our Wal-Mart.

Hi Michelle

I love your toothpicks. Savanna recently declared that she didn't like grapes or strawberries any more. However, I read on someone's blog (for the life of me, I can't remember whose) that using toothpicks made all the difference when it came to her toddler trying new foods. So, I thought I would try using toothpicks and I was pleasantly surprised at how successful this was. Your creative idea of making fancy toothpicks, using stickers, will be something I look forward to trying. Thanks for sharing.
