Emily's Yellow and Blue Painting
This weeks Open Ended Art theme is Mixing with Yellow. Emily painted on her easel with YELLOW and BLUE paint.
Emily started with the BLUE paint.
Then she added the YELLOW.
When Emily was all finished painting we let it dry and then used the painting to wrap up a birthday present for her cousin Anthony. Emily decorated the present with stickers. I helped her add the foam letters to spell out "Happy Birthday Anthony."
What a great idea to use the project as wrapping paper!
I love that she wrapped a present with her artwork!
I love this! This is such a sweet and fun thing to do!! Her color mixing looks cool too!
That is such a great way to use their art!
great use of art and anthony will have a keepsake!
What great wrapping paper! Your kiddos must have been proud :-)
great idea to make it wrapping paper, i'd love to try that :)
What an awesome idea, I have to remember this one!
I love the pictures of her painting on her easel, she looks like she is really into it. :)
This is a great way to use her artwork. This wrapping present looks way too special to be thrown away. I will keep this idea in mind for the future.
