Open Ended Art ~ Mixing With Yellow

Emily's Yellow and Blue Painting

This weeks Open Ended Art theme is Mixing with Yellow. Emily painted on her easel with YELLOW and BLUE paint.
Emily started with the BLUE paint.
Then she added the YELLOW.
When Emily was all finished painting we let it dry and then used the painting to wrap up a birthday present for her cousin Anthony. Emily decorated the present with stickers. I helped her add the foam letters to spell out "Happy Birthday Anthony."

This is a great way to use her artwork. This wrapping present looks way too special to be thrown away. I will keep this idea in mind for the future.
